| Description |
| Community Service: July 11 2024: 4 members drove in separate vehicles to the Galveston TX area to help disaster victims as part of Red Cross. Distance between New Orleans is 370 miles; two vehicles were driven. Planned return is next week. Brought donated food drinks cleaning and personal items. Each day is scheduled to work 8 hours by each of our volunteers. Dollars spent has been broken down. Volunteers are able to go to a location set up for responders etc. at night. Volunteers leave at night and return in the morning working 8 hours per day. Miles to Galveston was recoded on first day; return miles will be recoded on day volunteers return that is expected week of July 14. Total days of volunteering in Galveston are in excess of one week. |
