| Description |
| VFW DAY OF SERVICE conducted clean up and presssure washing of Stlandry VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK located at 5348 HWY 182 Opelousas. Event was covered by local media KATC TV 3. Clean up was to prepare the park for the upcoming memorial day service to be held there Monday May 26 at 10:30-12:00. Guest Speaker at the event is La. Dept of Veteran Affairs Secretary Meginley. Members of Post 2483 are also participating in that service with the official reading names of Those Who Paid the Ultimate Sacrifice from St Landry Parish in all conflicts since WW I . |
