‼️‼️URGENT MESSAGE‼️‼️ The Mid Winter Conference for this weekend January 15-17 in Alexandria has been CANCELED. We have had a positive COVID case in close contact with the Department Headquarters office, which means a few people will have to quarantine. As much as we hoped that we would be able to get together this weekend and conduct VFW and Auxiliary Business as well as present the VOD Students with their awards, Commander Lovergne feels this is the best decision to keep all of us safe. VOD Awards and Patriot Pen student awards will be given to District Commanders so that they can present them to the students in their District. A Zoom Meeting for VFW will be scheduled for January 31st. The agenda and link for that will be sent out ASAP. If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
Congratulations to Logan Kern for his fantastic essay submitted for our Voice of Democracy Contest. Logan was sponsored by Gonzales Memorial, VFW Post 3693!
